We are unable to tell if such people are helpfully creative, or a real threat to personal and communal integrity. We do, however, know that they distress and embarrass us. Clearly they should change their attitudes, assumptions, beliefs, thoughts, decisions and behaviors --- so that we will no longer be distressed and/or embarrassed by them. How can we get them to change if we cannot analyze, understand, predict and control their behavior. We must dominate them with force, coercion and violence if necessary. We must motivate them to behave properly ---by whatever means is necessary. It is for their own good, because they have made it clear by the way they are will not enjoy salvation. We must save them from themselves --- whether they want/like it or not. We know more than they do. We are better than they are.
