Often people/communities participate in, honor and
support logic, reason, and traditions which MAKE NO SENSE
within any BROAD AND HONEST CONTEXT. The "sense" of
such behavior is often supported by:
1. Powerful people who make themselves less
vulnerable by making weaker people (women, children, poor,
diseased, minorities, etc.) more vulnerable and less
powerful.
2. Economic systems which grant respect, honor, and
power to people who accumulate and/or control much
in the way of wealth, property, influence and
achievements.
3. Honored traditions of greed, covetousness,
luxury.
4. Lacks with regards to training in careful
reasoning, logic, and integrative political activities.
5. Honored collusive games of mutual self deception.
6. Self-righteousness based upon superior knowledge,
power, presence, wealth, giving, works, accomplishments,
salvation, doctrines, laws, rituals, religion and/or
governance.
When injustices are justified by logic, reason, and
traditions which MAKE NO SENSE within any BROAD AND
HONEST CONTEXT --- we need to keep the above
considerations graciously in mind, and to seek NOT to
illustrate them in unjust ways.
