Often we are dis-couraged when we seek to report openly and honestly our own experiences of the tragic consequences of our mistakes; whether they be our own individual mistakes, other persons' mistakes, or mistakes of the community as a whole. It takes real courage to be open and honest about our own experiences---if what we have experienced is contrary to the "coherent" communal expectations/demands which fit into the dominant collusive games of mutual self-deception that are currently fashionable and respected in our community. It is "safer" to "go with the flow". Only highly courageous people do not "go with the flow". The emphasis is usually upon conformity to expectations---at the expense of open and honest descriptions of diverse personal experiences. We often emphasize rules, regulations, commandments, pro-hibitions, in-hibitions, pro-scriptions, pre- scriptions and "holy" scriptures---at the expense of open and honest de-scriptions of our own personal experiences of the tragic consequences of mistakes made. The tragic consequence of such behaviors is not learning from mistakes and endlessly repeating mistakes. In our efforts to control "evil" people we engage in behaviors which generate alienative relationships that are the essence of evil. If we do not recognize alienative relationships as the essence of evil, we cannot deal wisely with whatever else there is that people regard as evil. If we are not en-couraged to report our own personal experiences openly and honestly---we are trapped in evil relationships. When we are dis-couraged in our efforts to report openly and honestly our own experiences of the tragic consequences of our mistakes---we are trapped in evil relationships. If what we have experienced is contrary to the "coherent" communal expectations/demands which fit into the dominant collusive games of mutual self-deception that are currently fashionable and respected by our friends--- we are probably trapped in evil relationships. If we "go with the flow" which is contrary to the truth as we see it---we are trapped in evil relationships. If the emphasis is usually upon conformity to expectations at the expense of open and honest descriptions of diverse personal experiences, we are trapped in evil relationships. If the emphasis in our community is upon rules, regulations, commandments, pro-hibitions, in-hibitions, pro-scriptions, pre-scriptions and "holy" scriptures---we are trapped in evil relationships. If we are embedded in many efforts to control "evil" people and encourage conformity---we are trapped in evil relationships. When we are trapped in evil relationships we are alienated, out-of-touch, estranged, un-informed, mis- informed, pre-judged, pre-judiced, mis-led, confused, and bound to make many tragic mistakes from which we will learn nothing.
