     People who believe that they know what  God's will is
---   often have difficulty knowing where  that  knowledge
should lead them.

     1.  Why are they privileged to know God's will?

     2.  Should they exercise special power and authority?

     3.  Are they chosen to carry out God's will?

     4.  What is God's will for them?  For others?

     5.  Who is in control of fulfilling God's will?

     6.  What about people who do not do God's will?

     7.  What about people who oppose doing God's will?

     It  is problematic to know what questions need to  be
asked  in the presence of people who presume to know  what
God's will is.   The presumptuous people are prone to  ask
different    questions ---  than  are  the   people   whom
the  presumptuous  people  feel called  to  lead.     What
questions should we prudently ask?

            Is it God's will that:

     1.  Alienation and misunderstandings increase?

     2.  People conform in one way, or in another way?

     3.  Conformity come through coercion?

     4.  Conformity be motivated through rewards?

     5.  Imperfections be eliminated?

     6.  Only the best people get into heaven?

     7.  Violence be reduced through more violence?

     8.  Some people be in control of other people?

     9.  Differences between people be eliminated?

    10.  Many commandments be obeyed?

     How is God's will to be portrayed?

     Through pictures,  role   models,   dance,   stories,
parables,   healing, forgiveness, conflict resolution, and
reconciliation?

     Through  commandments,  codes,  laws,   ideal  forms,
fantasies and visions?

     What  is  the purpose of us trying  to  portray  what
God's will is?   What difference will our effort make; and
to whom, at what price, for what benefit?

     Shall  we expect of God what young children learn  to
expect of addictive and codependent parents?

     Shall  we  respond to God as young children learn  to
respond to addictive and codependent parents?   With  fear
and apprehension---with a desire to placate?  With no hope
of understanding?

     Is God to be portrayed as beyond human  understanding
because  God lacks integrity of a kind which humans  might
understand?  Because God is fickle, arbitrary,  prejudiced
