They include in their advertisements (overtly or subliminally) images calculated to arouse interest in their product by mere association. Their focus is not so much upon how well their product can help to promote personal and communal integrity---as upon getting us to make pleasurable associations with their product so we will be more likely to buy it at some future time. Healthy sexual arousal occurs within contexts where people can be safely vulnerable---because of the exchange of free gifts of the freedom to be safely vulnerable. Such is not the case in the instance of a potential customer viewing/listening to commercial advertisements.
