Selfishness often takes the form of viewing self as a center toward which goods and services should flow. 2. Paranoia has to do with viewing self as a center toward which ill-will and anger flow. 3. Dictatorships pertain to a person dictating what all others should and must do. 4. Codependency pertains to a person trying to be a servant beyond human limitations; a central source of unlimited unlimited services. 5. Provincialism pertains to thinking that the whole significant cosmos is close to self geographically; close to one's own province or county. 6. Ethnocentrism pertains to thinking that all significant culture is rooted in one's own culture or community. 7. Nationalism pertains to thinking that all significant governmental merit is centered on one's own nation. 8. Worldism pertains to thinking that all of God's concerns are centered on one's own planet. We are so completely interconnected and interrelated that it is dishonest to look upon any one center as having ultimate status for good, ill, service, need, power, knowledge, wisdom or any other feature. Such dishonesty leads to personal and communal disintegration. (c) 2005 by Paul A. Smith in (On Being Yourself, Whole and Healthy) ==========================================================
