During our lives we also meet people who confuse conflicts and behave in ways which aggravate conflicts. If we want to enjoy both personal and communal integrity we need to recognize which people are peacemakers, and and which people are conflict makers. We need to ally ourselves with peacemakers in helping yet others to recognize the advantages of being and helping peacemakers, and the disadvantages of being and helping conflict makers. Conflict resolution is difficult if we do not recognize the nature of the conflict, the primary participants, the roots of the conflict: the what, who, why, where, how, when and consequences of the conflict. WHAT: To resolve conflict we need to be clear about what ideals, values and goals are in conflict. WHO: We need to recognize which persons are the incarnations of the ideals, values and goals which are in conflict. WHY: We need to recognize antecedent events, circumstances, injustices, mistakes, failures, emotions, etc. which play central roles in the conflict. WHERE: We need to recognize in what circumstances, environments, settings, gatherings, and dramatic settings the conflicts are most intense. HOW: We need to recognize how the conflicts are expressed tacitly, overtly, verbally, in action, in presence, in being, etc. WHEN: We need to note the times according to calendar, clock, and psychological sense when the conflicts are most active. There is a sense in which we need to analyze our conflicts in order to resolve them; yet we need to be sensitive to the integrity of the whole within which conflict occurs---and not analyze the conflict out of existence in the process of taking apart the whole which is in conflict. In clarifying conflicts we need to recognize which ideals, values and goals are allied with each other in the dynamic processes of the conflict; and which people who are the incarnations of allied ideals, values and goals are allied with each other. Are all the ideals, values and goals which are allied together of such a character that they promote and facilitate personal and communal integrity? Do some of the ideals, values and goals quite often promote and facilitate disintegration, dishonesty, deception, coercion, personal manipulations, violence, alienation, estrangement, ignorance, intolerance, judgmentalism, condemnations, and ex-communications? Peacemakers are worthy of respect because of their integrity and how they promote both personal and communal integrity. Often peacemakers are crucified because of how by their being and doing they promote both personal and communal integrity; for people who promote conflicts, addictive relationships, and codependent support of addictive relationships---cannot tolerate peacemakers who expose dishonesty and disintegration in the light of open and honest dialogue.
