     There  are  many  ways  of promoting  that  which  is
worthy   of  support,   respect,   communal   celebration,
development,  creative expression,  praise,  etc.   It  is
important   that  there  be  balance.   Any  inappropriate
imbalance  will communicate inappropriate  messages  which
are bound to have disintegrative consequences in the short
and/or  long  term.   The neglect of support  which  might
appropriately be expected in some amount and  manner,  can
say just as much as lavish support in some notable manner.
It  is  thus  important  to ask what kinds and  styles  of
support are missing.

     Absences of support may well  be  the  expression  of
collusions which support some perverted positive ideals by
making certain other kinds of support to be taboo, thereby
disintegrating the pattern of balanced support which might
grow in the absence of  the collusion.   To transcend such
disintegrative collusions the foundations  for integration
and balance must be  laid through  the articulation of the
need  for  both  balance  and integration as  transcendent
