He did not mature in a socially reflexive way. Jack now avoids reflexive considerations and seeks ways to have his avoidance patterns be in fulfillment of respectable ideals, values, and principles; so that in a reflexive way he can feel good about his reflexive immaturity. Jack has chosen to commit himself to ideals, values and principles which require him to avoid reflexive considerations; regarding them as leading people into biased considerations, rather than as leading to reliable truths. Jack believes that in this way he can discover reliable truths. Jack believes that in this way he can discover reliable unbiased objective truth, while people who indulge themselves in reflexive considerations are bound to be trapped in subjective biases and self-serving prejudices. Jack is spending his late adolescence in a science graduate school which prides itself upon its excellent program of training its students to become scientists exclusively dedicated to the search for objective truth, free of the self-serving prejudices of subjective considerations. In graduate school Jack avoids many of the temptations to get emotionally involved and so be distracted from his commitment to discover truth, the laws of nature, the nature of objective reality which exists independently of human considerations. Graduate school helps Jack fulfill his commitment to avoid reflexively immature professors before him. Jack and his role models are trapped in strange feed- back loops which are in reflexive ways augmenting their reflexive immaturity and anti-reflexive biases. Because of their anti-reflexive biases they are blind to the nature of their anti-reflexive biases because by the nature of their biases those very biases make themselves invisible in a second order strange loop. Thus a very tightly woven collusion fabric double and triple bind/blinds them into can't win paradigms which inhibit a scientific revolution by which to transcend scientific collusions.
