The security is not real because the collusion threatens anyone who considerations violating the deceptive rules of the collusion. When one is under threat which engenders fear one is not secure. Security is a psychological reality, not just an objective reality. If a person does not feel secure the person is not secure. However, a person may feel secure and yet not be secure; the feeling may be deceptive. Security is not just a psychological reality. Security pertains to the freedom to communicate openly and honestly without need of fear. To escape from a collusion one must participate in some sense in a community which offers support for people who exercise freedoms of communication. The acceptance of honest people as they are serves as the foundation for their escape from the perversions of collusions. People who know of no one who will accept them as they are honestly, are people who have no basis for rejecting the perverse security of their collusions. Transcendence of collusions is not a technical procedure. Technocrats are participants in collusions. So also for pedantic professors, legalistic religious leaders, selfish professionals, fanatical nationalists, etc. No sophisticated training program will release people from their collusions unless there is first a profound dedication to their communication freedoms and right to be open and honest in dialogue. Collusions may meet peoples needs which originate in some kind of immaturity, they may use collusions as compensations for needs not met in their formative years. For example, scientists may collude to believe compulsively in objectivity because they failed to become reflexively mature through socially approving reflexive social relationships.
