Such an ability/power to so directly affect each other would effect a high degree of mutual vulnerability which would be avoided with great fear unless each other felt secure in such a degree of vulnerability. Such security is not characteristic of people who operate within exclusively objective states of consciousness. People who operate exclusively within subjective states of consciousness can not become mutually conscious of the "programs" which are responsible for their response patterns, and so can not become able to mutually "re- program" each other to respond more wisely and satisfactorily to stimuli. Behaviorists who operate exclusively within objective states of consciousness believe that true subjective states of consciousness are not real, do not exist, are not meaningful, are not fruitfully shared, can not be verified within the context of significant subjective states of consciousness. An exclusive dedication to objective states of consciousness excludes the possibility of enjoying the fruits of operating within mutually vulnerable intimate states of subjective consciousness of each other. Exclusively objective states of consciousness exclude the possibility of meaningful subjective dialogue within which subjective states of consciousness and experiences might be honestly and openly shared. That which collusive taboo says does not and must not exist can not and must not be shared, else each other must subjectively reject each other as subject and so subject each other to objective depersonalizing treatment which confirms the collusive conviction about what must be real. The dichotomization collusion demands that if the dichotomy is not real it must be realized, made real. The truth must be realized no matter what the cost. Research projects must be designed in such a way to discover that desired and anticipated truth which has been chosen in fear of the experiences which might flood in if the truth were not true.
