Integrative people are far more likely to promote the survival of us and our children than are disintegrative people. The process of natural selection has embedded in our instincts the insight that we should unite with integrative people rather than with disintegrative people who will threaten our integrity. The result is that our families in our communities derive their unity from the uniting together of people who survive through their instinctive dedication to integration rather than to disintegration. Ideals, role models, values, mentors, principles, leaders, goals, teachers, desires, parents, etc. that promote integration with integrity are worthy of our respect and support. Our instincts know this and lead us towards integration when they are freed of perverse coercions by genuine Love. Fear is perverse when it blocks communication with integrative people. If we fear to be intimate with integrative people we are doomed to disintegrate in our isolation and alienation from role models who could lead the way to sustain the unity of our communities through integrative behavior of attractive people who cast out fear with love. That fear is perverse which fears love and the power of love to cast out fear. It is evil to fear the power of love to promote integration. The fear of integrative people flows from the way that they threaten people's respect for legalistic systems as ultimate means to salvation. People who worship legalistic systems as worthy of ultimate respect, fear that integrative people will reveal the nature of their idolatry. Such a revelation would destroy their sense of security in an invulnerable defense they have built up for their own righteousness. Such fear motivates violence which seeks to disintegrate the power of attractive integrative people, making them the objects of fear and so promotes disintegration.
