UN-SCIENTIFIC NON-SCHOLARLY UN-SUBSTANTIATED

Many scientists and scholarly people are likely to view the essays as dis-organized, un-scientific, non-scholarly, speculative, unfocused, etc.

Clearly the essays have not been written in any standard literary style, or to meet standards for publication in any reputable scholarly journal. There has been no effort to please anybody, to reach any target audience, or to make money through the sale of copies of the essays.

The essays are extensive notes which have been marginally edited to correct errors in transcription and/or the misuse of language and punctuation. The essays are the result of train-of-consciousness-writing; usually written on a typewriter or computer at about 40 words per minute with relatively few pauses. Each effort to improve on an essay through major editing work --- has been a disaster. The only editing work which has yielded any fruit worthy of respect --- has been work directed toward trying to recapture the original insights as faithfully as possible.

In some cases editorial work has run into a brick wall --- until an effort was made return to the original moment of insight --- whereupon it became immediately clear that one word had been left out or converted into a similar word. The original writing had occurred up to three years previous!

The essays are clearly not the result of any traditional kind of scientific or scholarly research. Never have essays been written while looking at notes written down previously on the occasion of extensive reading of previous scholarly or scientific work. Never have the essays been written down in conjunction with any set of measurements; or guided by computations base upon any measurements. Never have essays been written during scheduled times for the writing of essays. They have been written at all times of day and night when insights have come uninvited; and only at such times.

Readers who read the essays with expectations which are at variance with the above facts --- are likely to have difficulty making any sense of what is offered through the essays. Such readers need to go to more traditional kinds of writings to have their expectations fulfilled.
