Such victims' fear is not healthy fear of natural consequences; but unhealthy fear of humanly contrived consequences. Their fear has been engendered by contrived consequences which are often coercive, manipulative and alienative. Victimized people who are motivated by fear often threaten other less powerful people with contrived punishments and/or actually impose contrived punishments ---which are coercive, manipulative and alienative. The victims of one generation of such people make victims of the next generation --- who become like them. The sins of each generation of such victims echo down unto the seventh generation, and perhaps even farther. Such victims are often arrogant, self-righteous, and behave in the manner of addicts with codependent supporters who respect, honor and support them and their legalistic/judgmental approaches to human relationships. They are often religious, political, and/or business leaders with substantial followings. We cannot be well and do well so long as we are unable to recognize, name, describe and deal prudently/graciously with such fearful people who lead others to become fearful people.
