that God is Love. In what sense are these sayings "true".
People who are truly in Love:
1. Are confident in letting go of fear --- without
fear of later regretting having let go.
2. Live with firm foundations for safe
intimacy/dialogue; foundations which have been laid
carefully, gently, humbly and lovingly.
3 Know with confidence that each other whom they
trust is not playing collusive games of mutual self
deception with themselves and/or with others.
4. Know each other well through patient listening in
balanced ways --- ways which have led to mutual
discernment of how each other is present in Love.
5. Know each other as being present in Love without
any compulsive preoccupations with issues of:
control,
coercion,
entrapment,
conformity,
management,
legalities,
judgments,
condemnations,
alienation, or
estrangement.
6. Are not preoccupied with issues of:
superiority, inferiority;
perfection, imperfection;
good, evil;
morality, immorality;
better, lesser;
salvation, damnation;
winning, losing;
domination, submissiveness;
success, failure.
People who are truly in Love enjoy the transcendence
of many misleading preoccupations which engender
alienation, disintegration, distrust, fear, faithlessness,
and hopelessness.
