     When  people  are  threatened  at  their  points   of                                                                    
vulnerability --- they are likely to adopt postures  which                                                                     
are   defensive,   secretive,   dishonest,   manipulative,                                                                  
coercive, alienative  and/or violent.   Thus,  threatening           
people  at their   points   of   vulnerability   will  not                                                                    
contribute constructively to promoting either personal  or                                                           
communal integrity.                                                                
                                                                                                                               
     People who are openly and honestly seeking to promote                                                                  
both    personal   and communal integrity ---  are  people                                                                
who avoid actions which threaten  people  at  their points                                                                    
of  vulnerability.  Making   such   threats ---  virtually                                                                     
always  undermines  both personal and  communal  integrity      
and integration.                                                                   
                                                                                                                               
     People  who  are preoccupied with issues  of  control                                                           
--- often threaten people at their points of vulnerability                                                                    
--- because doing  so makes sense within the framework  of                          
their  paradigm    which    focuses   upon  issues:     of                                                                     
control,   discipline,    prescriptions,    proscriptions,                                                           
commandments,  formulas,      conformity,     exclusivity,            
legalism,      condemnations,       and  excommunications.                                                                
Controllers  believe that good  people  should do all they             
can  do to   make  bad people  "be  good"     through  the                                
coercive  imposition  of  appropriate controls upon people
