We concoct for ourselves explanations for why other people have behaved as we perceive them to have behaved --- and without checking to see if our explanation can be sh own to be false, we assume that it is true and beyond doubt. Too often we want to believe what we have concocted is true, and are not at all interested in the possibility that it is just the fabric of our desires and imagination. Getting other people of like mind, desire and creativity to agree with us proves very little. To achieve real proof, we must be in dialogue with many different people who want to prove us wrong.
