     People  who fear chaos and disorder often respond  in
two contrasting ways:

     1.  Try to exclude chaos, confusion,  ambiguity,  and
paradoxes from their lives.    These people are likely  to
focus upon recognizing,  identifying,  naming,  describing
and exporting chaos,  confusion,  ambiguity and paradoxes.
They  are likely to be preoccupied with  exclusive  clubs,
power  to control,  and issues of control.    Often  their
focus will be upon resolving  conflicts through the use of
exclusivity,   power to control,  and the manipulation  of
appearances---with  little  interest in  the  patterns  of
disintegration which they engender.

     2.  Seek   to   promote   integrity,     integration,
wholeness, coherence,  understanding,  honestly, openness,
intimacy, security,  safety, etc.  These people are likely
to  seek  personal and communal  integrity,   integration,
wholeness,  coherence  and  understanding  by  working  to
promote  the possibilities of honesty, openness, intimacy,
security and safety.  In their quest,  they may often need
to take risks where there are no guaranteed outcomes,  and
to  make  sacrifices  in  order to be  faithful  to  their
