     Our lives are full of difficulties having to do  with
trying   to  make  confident  decisions  in  the  face  of
uncertainty about:

     1.  Information essential to wise decision making.
     2.  Correct logical reasoning.
     3.  Assumptions which must be made.
     4.  The interpretations of paradoxical truths.
     5.  Labeling of a truth as heretically dangerous.
     6.  Collusive games of mutual self-deception.
     7.  Whether or not behaviors are addictive.
     8.  Whether or not certain persons can be trusted.
     9.  The integrity of a person or community.
    10.  Whether or not ideals/values are disintegrative.
    11.  Whether or not impossibilities are real/apparent.

     Often  people try to compensate for their doubts  and
uncertainties by putting on shows of false confidence  and
excessive  certainty.   Some people try to compensate  for
their doubts and uncertainties by trying to follow  people
who  appear  to be sure of themselves and certain of  what
they claim is true.  However,  if we follow people who are
better at acting than at being honest,  we are bound to be
