     Many  religious  leaders have compensated  for  their
lack of humility with great certainty that they know God's
words  and what those holy words mean.    How would  God's
true messiah know that she or he was God's true messiah?

     There  might  be  some strange  stories  about  one's
conception or birth,  which may suggest that one was God's
true  messiah---but would any intelligent,  reasonable and
mature person trust such stories?

     Would  any intelligent,  reasonable and mature person
welcome the knowledge that one was God's true messiah, and
want to carry out the "mission impossible?"

     Recruiting  disciples to help carry out the  "mission
impossible"  would be tricky!    How could anyone with any
amount  of sense---respect anyone who would be willing  to
join in trying to carry out the "mission impossible?"  Who
would  trust  anyone  willing  to  join  in  the  "mission
impossible?"

     How can anyone who considers himself or herself to be
the  true  messiah---maintain any measure of humility  and
proportion?  By what means, insights, powers?

     If one knows oneself to be the true messiah---how  is
one to meaningfully identify with mere mortals,  and truly
deal with the uncertainties, doubts, confusions, paradoxes
and ignorance which are the lot of mere mortals?

     Where  should  God's  true  messiah  go  to   recruit
disciples?     To  some religious establishment?     To  a
school?   To a royal court?   To a group of common people?
Why so?

     How  are  we to recognize God's true messiah  in  the
light  of questions such as these?    Can we recognize and
properly respond to God's true messiah if we are unwilling
to take questions such as these seriously?   How can we be
sure?    What if we are absolutely sure?   What if we  are
