     How  are we to recognize false religious prophets who
pretend to have special knowledge of who is good  and  who
is   evil;   who is in the service of God,  and who is  in
the service  of  the Devil?    They claim to have eaten of
the  fruit   of  the tree which was in the  midst  of  the
Garden of Eden---and  so to have acquired the knowledge of
good  and evil WHICH GOD FORBAD.

     What  are the fruits of the claims of those  who  say
that they  have  acquired the knowledge of  good and evil?
How   are  we to know them by the fruits which they  bear?
Do  they  act,    speak,    write,   and  preach  in  ways
which   facilitate  and  promote  personal  and   communal
integrity;   or  do  they engender personal  and  communal
disintegration?

     Do  religious  prophets  lead  their  followers  into
conflict; or into conflict resolution?

     Do  religious  prophets lead their followers  out  of
collusive games of mutual self deception; or into them?

     Do  religious  leaders  work to liberate,   heal  and
reconcile  people;   or  do  they  engender  guilt, shame,
blindness, deafness, sickness and alienation?
