     Communal acceptance, love, connectedness, support and
affirmations are essential to personal integrity.   It  is
not  enough to be accepted,  loved,  connected,  supported
and/or  affirmed in isolated ways by one or  many isolated
individuals.  Not even a large collection of such isolated
relationships  is equivalent to true communal  acceptance,
love, connectedness, support and affirmations---especially
if  the  isolated  relationships are  taboo  or  otherwise
threaten dominant collusive games of mutual self deception
which define a community.

     One  of  our difficulties is that we do  not  have  a
generally  accepted  vocabulary  with  which  to point  to
COMMUNAL  acceptance,  love,  connectedness,  support  and
affirmations.    Yet,  the integration of persons into the
fabric  of  communal  life is essential  to  personal  and
communal integrity within any community.    People who are
not integrated into the fabric of communal life are likely
to  be or become threats to the integrity of the fabric of
communal  life;   as  they  are  likely  to   disintegrate
personally  and  to  not care about the integrity  of  the
community   around   them.     The  excommunication and/or
alienation of an individual from the community around them
is dangerous to the community and to the individual.

     Communal  integrity depends upon personal commitments
to seek,  support  and  affirm both  personal and communal
