     Many  people commit themselves to conflicting  ideals
and values;  and fail to commit themselves to facilitating
both  personal  and  communal integrity  through  creative
conflict resolution.

     In  the  absence  of  people  who  are  committed  to
facilitating  both  personal and communal  integrity  many
people who  are committed to conflicting ideals are unable
to  find  ways to peacefully resolve the  conflicts  which
inevitably persist within,  between and  among them.   The
escalation of violent conflicts is bound to undermine both
personal and communal integrity and people  will be unable
to affirm effectively the ideals and values  to which they
are committed.

     In   the   absence  of  meaningful   commitments   to
facilitating  both personal and  communal  integrity---all
other  commitments  turn  out  to be futile.     Dishonest
people, however, often pretend otherwise.   They and their
