     Often  sex  education has been neglected and  avoided
with  the implicit statement that the less a  child  knows
about sexuality early in life the more perfectly the adult
will be able to fulfill the expectations  of the community
within a marriage.     Sexual knowledge of self and  other
is regarded as somehow likely to  pollute the being of the
child.    Healthy  sexual  behavior is  not  acknowledged,
talked about or demonstrated.

     It is often assumed that the art  of participating in
healthy  sexual relationships is somehow  instinctive  and
will be turned on by a marriage ceremony.    There is much
dishonesty,   misunderstanding and  alienation  associated
with  this  paradigm in regards to the growth of  people's
sexual  aspects during their lives.   It is often  assumed
that somehow a marriage ceremony will make it possible for
licensed  people to transcend all the consequences of such
dishonesty,  misunderstanding and alienation;  and so make
it  possible for  them  to  participate   in  healthy  and
everlasting   marriage relationships in keeping with tacit
communal expectations.

     Many  collusive  games of mutual self  deception  are
played when it comes to dealing with human sexuality.  The
dishonesty  of such games does not lay  solid  foundations
for healthy marriages or healthy families.   It is time to
be  open  and  honest  about  the  consequences  of   many
traditional   assumptions,    attitudes,    beliefs    and
convictions with regards to what is evil about some sexual
relationships,  and  what is worthy of respect and support
