The lives of conformal people do not revolve around what is unique about themselves, their friends, and their relationships. The lives of conformal people have to do with importing external forms to change the forms of their internal realities and to change the forms of their relationships with those nearest and dearest to them. The lives of conformal people do not have to do with honestly revealing to others the internal forms of their being true to themselves; or with setting other people free to honestly reveal to others the internal forms of their being true to themselves. The lives of conformal people have to do with finding ways to appear to others to have conformed to the expectations which are defined by external forms which are regarded as better, more correct, superior, and transcendent to any unique internal forms. Internal realities are sacrificed, denied, repressed, hidden or changed in order to conform to external realities. The lives of conformal people do not celebrate the importance of openness, honesty, truth, intimacy, love, charity, forgiveness, dialogue, listening, personal integrity, or communal integrity.
