The man who contends that he is the wisest and smartest man in the world and contends that anyone who disagrees with him should consult him as wisest and smartest man in the world for confirmation---is not worthy of respect. Is the contention of the person who says that the community is collusive of the same kind? The participants in collusions are always seeking to keep their dishonesty concealed. If they contend that they are not participants in collusions and that their community is not collusive; ask them to point to evidence that their community is collusive, as well as to evidence that it is not collusive. If they themselves are collusive they cannot violate the tacit rules of their collusions, and they are bound to neglect to point to much evidence that their community is collusive, while pointing only to evidence that their community is not collusive. They are likely to fail to take due note of: 1. Corruption in positions of great power within religious, business, educational, scientific, political, and professional institutions. 2. The failure of political leaders to openly and honestly deal forthrightly with the major dilemmas of the day. 3. Attempts by major leaders to deal inappropriately with dilemmas as if they were technical problems. 4. Dishonesty about the limited amounts of energy and mineral resources available to mankind. 5. Pervasive dishonesty about sexuality, birth, aging, terminal illnesses, and death. 6. Attempts to control addictive drug related behavior through officially sanctioned addictive manipulative behaviors. 7. Abusive distributions of political, economic, religious, and gender power. 8. Passive and active abuse of children and women. 9. Concentration of power in the hands of lawyers. 10. Pervasive dis-ease and consequent illnesses which are profitable to health-care providers, with little emphasis on health maintenance efforts and self care. They are likely to dismiss the evidence of the operations of collusions by contending that "things have always been that way" and "things are better than they used to be." Colluders cannot deal openly and honestly with evidence of the presence of their collusions. They avoid the evidence by trying to make it appear to be other that what it is. (c) 2005 by Paul A.
