     If we  perceive  ourselves  as  isolated  individuals
rather  than  as integrated members  of  communities  with
integrity we are likely to fail to see how in our state of
isolation   we   act  as  victims   of   systemic/communal
dishonesty about our selves and about others.

     The truth is that we humans are essentially  communal
creatures.    Any  pattern  of perception which  does  not
respect this truth is a pattern which is probably part  of
a  systemic pattern of dishonesty which will victimize all
individuals  caught  within  the  pattern  of  dishonesty.
Failing to deal with reality as it is, is bound to lead to
failures;   pretending that something is (is-not)  so does
not always make to be so (not-so).

     Our  difficulty  is  that  there  are  often  unclear
boundaries  between realities which exist  independent  of
our thoughts, actions, fears, visions, dreams, wishes, and
desires;   and  other realities which we virtually  create
through our thoughts,  actions,  fears,  visions,  dreams,
wishes  and desires.   Sometimes pretending that something
is  (is-not)  so does make it so (not-so);  but it is  not
always  so.   It is important to be able to recognize when
it is not so.

     Pretending that we are fully isolated individuals who
are  able   to  exist with integrity  in  full  isolation,
rather  than within  an  integrated community,   does  not
make   it  so.  Personal   and  communal   integrity   are
interdependent; pretending otherwise does not make it so.

     Individual   integrity  cannot  be  achieved  in  the
absence  of   communal  integrity.    Communal   integrity
cannot   be achieved   in   the  absence  of    individual
integrity. Pretending otherwise will not make it be so.
