%ACCEPT LOVE PERMISSION VIOLATE TABOO ESCAPE PRISON 910405

     Often we cannot  escape the prisons  of our collusive
taboos  until  we  are  in a loving way  offered  (and  we
accept)   the permission of other(s) to violate the taboos
which bind us to our games of mutual self deception.

     It  is  not   enough   to know  that   we  have  been
playing collusive   games  of  mutual  self  deception  in
which   dishonesty    is   used  as  a  tool   of   mutual
manipulation   and violation.  Such knowledge may be  only
intellectual,   not of the heart,  and so not be  powerful
knowledge.

     We   may  have  internalized the idea  and   accepted
it   as  natural  that  we may not do something  until  we
have    been   granted   permission   to   to   something;
regardless  of  how normal  and natural that something may
be.    We  may  believe that  for  every action we must be
instructed  to do it  or get  permission  to  do  it.   If
we  are   trapped  in   that perverted sense  of  what  is
natural, it will be natural for us  to have to seek and to
accept permission to stop being dishonest with ourself and
with others.

     In honest  and  loving  support  groups  we  may give
ourselves  and   each other permission to be  honest  with
ourselves  and each other;  even though we may still  live
within  a  society  that  has  become  an  addict  and  is
dominated  by   addictive organizations and  institutions.
Within  honest  contexts we can  give ourselves  and  each
other  permission  to  begin   to  recover  our  sense  of
personal  integrity,   and our  health.  We   have    been
imprisoned   by  communal   patterns   of dishonesty.   We
can  together escape our prison by creating new   communal
patterns  of honesty which give us  permission to  violate
the  taboos  which demand that we  continue  to  play  our
