     The  integrity of a community and its members depends
upon  the  encouragement of role modeling of  life  styles
which  give  powerful  examples  of  the  incarnation   of
integrative leadership principles in daily behavior.

     It  is  not enough to engage in academic  discussions
of  scholarly  statements  by  intellectuals  who  do  not
illustrate what they teach by their own life styles.   The
failure  to  illustrate  teachings  by  role  modeling  of
teaching is a powerful denial of that which is  ostensibly
taught.  Such a failure is part of the collusive games  of
mutual    self   deception   played   by    disintegrating
communities.

     People  who  lack  the  courage to  illustrate  their
teachings   by  their  life  styles  can  not  effectively
encourage  students and others to be incarnations  of  the
teachings. Incarnation of teachings can most powerfully be
encouraged  by  leading through role  modeling.   Behavior
which  is  inconsistent with overt teaching  thereby  role
models  collusive behavior which encourages  participation
in collusive behavior. Such behavior is disintegrative.

     Integrative   behavior  entails   open   and   honest
discussion  of all the kinds of personal experiences which
are  significant  to  members  of  the  community.    Each
systematic  failure  to discuss some kind  of  significant
experience   constitutes  a  signal  to  members  of   the
community  that a taboo is to be enforced with  regard  to
that  kind of experience.  Such failures tend to  lead  to
more of the same.  Transcendence of such failures  through
courageous  integrative  leadership also tend to  lead  to
