     The essence of integrity resides in the character and
the  quality  of relationships,  not in the character  and
quality   of   the  elements  which  participate  in   the
relationships.  For this reason traditional analysis which
takes  things apart to try to understand them in terms  of
their  parts---lacks the wisdom to understand the  essence
of  personal and communal integrity.  Scientists  can  not
discover  and  understand personal and communal  integrity
while   working   exclusively   within   the   traditional
scientific   paradigm.    Traditional  scientists   cannot
conceive of authentic personal and communal integrity  and
so  can not conceive ( give birth to ) authentic  personal
and communal integrity.

     Traditional scholarly  analysis will not help  create
integrity  in situations characterized by  disintegration.
The parts of a disintegrating reality cannot be integrated
by any analysis which focuses upon the elements.  Such  an
analysis  will not reveal the disintegrative character  of
elementary relationships;  for the analysis is not founded
upon  a wise understanding of the nature of  personal  and
communal   integrity.   That  which  is  missing  is   not
recognized because the analysts are not familiar with what
is missing,  they have not themselves experienced profound
personal and communal integrity.

     The  experience  of  profound personal  and  communal
integrity  is not the experience of an objective  reality,
and  so  is not in the realm of the  realities  which  are
central   to  the  lives  of  objective  scientists.   The
objective  realm  does  not  include  the  realm  of   the
realities of personal and communal integrity.  People  who
believe  that  only  the objective realm is real  will  be
threatened  by  the  realities of  personal  and  communal
integrity.    Their  presence  and  realities  reveal  the
inadequacy  of  their  compulsively  objective  system  of
beliefs and convictions.  No objective analysis can dispel
that  presence.   The integrity of God does not  yield  to
analysis.   Analysis  does  not dispel God's  presence  or
