Not all reflexive behavior is worthy of respect. Reflexive behavior is worthy of respect if its spirit, modality, intention, direction, etc. is integrative with due consideration to all others' rights, integrities, and communities. Reflexive behavior is not worthy of respect if: it entails the abuse of power, undermines mutuality of relationships, obscures and represses perceptions, or lacks appropriate balance between complimentary values and ideals. In such situations reflexive behavior is biased. Reflexive considerations are biased when exclusivity operates to keep out of consideration any facts, realities, opinions, perceptions, relationships, persons, etc. which are relevant to the context. Bias flows from exclusivity. Exclusively subjective considerations are biased. Exclusively objective considerations are biased. All exclusive considerations are biased, no matter what the focus of the exclusivity. Exclusivity and consequent biases undermine both personal and communal integrity and so are not worthy of respect. They can not be justified with integrity in terms of any transcendent ideals or values, because they undermine the foundations of all ideals and values which promote integrity. Graduate programs which focus upon pure research to the exclusion of promoting personal and communal integrity in school systems affected by the graduate programs, are biased graduate programs---because of their exclusivity and consequent lack of balance. Bias flows from the exclusivity of the ideals and values which dominate the programs and so undermine the personal and communal integrity of the participants, and of those later affected by the unbalanced perceptions of the graduates of the graduate programs. Accrediting educational programs which accredit and grant great power to people who are unbalanced---thereby undermines the integrity of the communities to which they send their graduates and threatens the global community due to arms races and their consequences.
