Men who are committed to maintaining a macho
community of powerful men---maintain a taboo against
vulnerability. No respectable man can be permitted to be
vulnerable, for vulnerable men are NOT fully in
control of their situation. They are men who permit
themselves to lose control of their situation. Men who
permit themselves to lose control of their situation (to
be vulnerable) must not be respected. Vulnerability is
not manly, only fools let themselves be vulnerable.
It is men's duty to protect women against threats.
Men must be able to defend women on a moment's notice.
They must not let their guard down, even for a moment.
Danger lurks in the darkness and men must always be ready
to defend vulnerable women against those hidden dangers.
It would be irresponsible for men to be caught being
vulnerable. From childhood they need to learn that lesson
very deeply.
Men must excel in self-discipline and self-control---
so that they can maintain control of their situations.
They must work together as a team to maintain their
self-discipline and self-control, and their dedication to
macho ideals. Individual sacrifices must be made for
the welfare of the team and its ideals. Threats to the
team and its ideals must be dealt with powerfully. Any
member of the team who falters in dedication to the team
and its ideals---must be "encouraged" to re-dedicate
himself to the ideals and methods that the team has for
winning its battles against the threats to the unity of
the macho community. It is men's responsibility to win
those battles!
Women who seek to play the roles which have been
given by a male God to men, are not worthy of such
responsibility, because they were not created for that
purpose. Such women are a threat to the unity of the
macho community. They must be put in their proper
place. Women who want men to love them on the basis of
mutuality and equality must also be regarded as a threat,
for they threaten to make men vulnerable and to lose
control. They are an especially dangerous threats to
the macho community.
