Objective reality is rooted in the past. Even predictions are based upon past patterns. Objective analysis can paint the future only in terms of patterns perceived in the past; not in terms of human desires, intentions, dedication, agreements, resolutions, and hope. The grounds for hope, joy, cheerfulness, optimism, and smiles are not to be found through objective analysis. Positive approaches to life are not grounded in careful analysis of the facts of figures which characterize the past. Some people refuse to approach life in a positive way---because they do no believe that there are adequate grounds to justify a positive approach to life. They do not want to be proven wrong, misinformed, or foolish---by assuming that there are adequate grounds for hope. Whether or not there are grounds for hope---is to them an objective reality about which they are unsure---and they choose to be cautious. Given sufficient proof about that objective reality---they might be willing to take the risk of hoping, but not before. Those who wait for objective grounds for hope will wait while they die for lack of hope. The grounds for hope are not in the objective realm---and can not be known through objective means and analysis. The grounds for hope can be perceived in the realm of human desires, intentions, dedications, agreements, and resolutions; in human hope. People who desire to live meaningful lives through their intentions, dedications, and agreements realize resolutions which act out their decisions to be hopeful. Hope is not a reality which exists independently of people in search of it. Hope, joy, cheer, optimism and faith are not objective realities subject to human discovery; they are human creations through the power of Love. Those who are free in dialogue---live by faith which lifts from them the burden of proving their legitimacy and the legitimacy of hope, joy, cheer, and optimism.
