The essays have not been composed to reach any chosen audience with any intended message. While the essays may speak most immediately to curious audiences of college level students, text in these essays apply and relate to countless other audiences, including: scientists, educators, politicians, religious leaders, social workers, peace workers, environmentalists, etc.
Readers of selections from these thousands of essays are bound to find and appreciate complementary truths --- through their various selections and ways of approaching and considering all that they perceive the essays they select as pointing towards.
However, it is not to be expected that differing readers will come to the same conclusions --- upon reading different selections of essays in differing orders and ways. Diversity will continue. Yet, hopefully differing people will find many differing ways to come to a mutual understanding and integrative cooperation.
There is no right way or order in which to read the essays. There are countless orders and ways in which to read the essays, as there are countless people who may choose to read them to satisfy their own interests. The software of the ESSAYS System provides many ways to find, read and print essays containing keywords (individually and in association with each other) which are of interest to the reader. The system is not a conventional hyper-text system.
