There   are  some  serious  dilemmas  in  our  traditional
patterns  of  Military-Honors given to citizens  who  have
served and sacrificed in Military-Services.

On  the  one  hand  --- people  who  honor  the   Myth-of-
Redemptive-Violence see it as honorable to honor those who
have  served honorably in  the  military services ---   at
great risk and/or cost to them and their families.

On the other  hand --- people who recognize,  acknowledge,
clarify  and describe the Overall-Net-Cost of honoring the
Myth-of-Redemptive-Violence  ---  see  the full  range  of
Tragic-Consequences-and-Costs   of   that    Tradition-of-
Recycling-Destructive-Violence.    It will be difficult to
MITIGATE that Destructive-Tradition ---   without  in  the
process MITIGATING the  traditions  of Honoring people who
have served in the Military-Service of their country.

How are  the transitions in those traditions to be made at
the  least  cost to all involved ---   without  a  Global-
Nuclear-War-Tragedy    that   undermines   all    previous
integrations?

     Be-Together in the Many-Gracious ways of Shalom.
