     Many, if not most, kinds of human behaviors have been
"ritualized",   "formalized",  "prescribed",  "proscribed"
and/or made taboo within one or more cultures ---  in ways
which have been:  integrative, gracious, helpful, healthy,
healing, civil, civilizing, honest, balanced, mutual, etc.

                        LIKEWISE:

     Many, if not most, kinds of human behaviors have been
"ritualized",   "formalized",  "prescribed",  "proscribed"
and/or made taboo within one or more cultures ---  in ways
which   have  been:   dis-integrtive,   mean,    coercive,
sickening, hurtful, contentious,  unilateral, pretentious,
extreme, hubristic, etc.

     Ritualizations,    formalizations,     prescriptions,
proscriptions,   and the evolutions of taboos are not  in-
and-of-themselves either: good/evil, good/bad, right/wrong
or integrative/destructive.  Much depends upon:  contexts,
situations,  desires, wants, needs,  hopes,  expectations,
etc.

     Both  Domineering-People  and True-Lovers  have  made
"Pragmatic-Uses"  of:    Ritualizations,   Formalizations,
Prescriptions, Proscriptions, and the Evolutions-of-Taboos
within diverse contexts ---  with various kinds of  fruits
flowing from such pragmatic uses.

     Domineering-People's "Pragmatic-Uses-and-Abuses" have
usually  yielded  various kinds  of  "Bitter-Fruits"   ---
depending  upon  how extreme  their  "Domination  Systems"
and/or "Control-Systems" have been.

     True-Lovers "Pragmatic-Uses"  have usually,  but  not
always,  yielded "Sweeter-Fruits"  for those who have been
and/or  become  involved ---  depending  upon how:  truly,
openly,  graciously, generously, authentically,  honestly,
hospitably, coherently,  and lovingly they have been True-
Lovers.

     Many "Rituals",  "Formalities",  "Prescriptions", and
"Proscriptions"   have  played  helpful roles  within  the
contexts   of  the  gracious  offering  of:   suggestions,
demonstrations, guide-lines, and role-modeling of Healthy-
Human-Relations;  in  revealing-real-lives-and-communities
and in revealing: stage-dramas,  movies, musicals, videos,
stories, novels,  etc.

     Many "Rituals",  "Formalities",  "Prescriptions", and
"Proscriptions"   have   played helpful roles  within  the
contexts   of  the  gracious  offering   of   suggestions,
demonstrations, guide-lines,   and role-modeling of Human-
Relations which  have  revealed  PATHS-INTO:   Domination,
Coercion,  Dictatorships,    Empire-Building,    Violence,
Slavery, Submission,  Sacrifice and other Deadly Patterns-
of-Inhumane-Behaviors.

     There  are  many  helpful  ways  in  which  athletic,
artistic, scholarly and scientific contests-and-conflicts-
and-games  can-be-seen in the light of the above comments.
Many "Rituals",   "Formalities",    "Prescriptions",   and
"Proscriptions"  have  played helpful roles  for  diverse-
people in diverse-situations; sometimes with  justice-for-
all  and other-times with justice-for-a-few.   How  sweet-
and-bitter  the fruits turn out to be ---  usually depends
upon the  presence  and/or absence of Distributive-Justice
and of other central Virtues-and-Vices.

     True-Lovers   work  to  reveal  what  is   happening.

     Domineering-People work to conceal what is happening.

              Shalom is the Way of Sweet-Fruits.

            Domination is the Way of Bitter-Fruits.
