     In  Biblical texts there are references to the powers
that be:   spirits,  angels,  principalities, powers, etc.
What    were   and/or   are   their    ELEMENTARY-ASPECTS?
Considering  the following possible ELEMENTARY-ASPECTS  of
the  "spirit"  of a church,  city,   state,   corporation,
nation,  profession,  etc.  The "Powers That Be"  may,  or
may-not, be fallen-powers:  Thus their ASPECTS may include
contrasting realities such as:

     1.  Collusive games of mutual-self-deception.

     2.  Committments to facilitate/promote both  personal
and communal integrations and integrities.

     3.  The  acceptance  of taking advantage of poor  and
vulnerable people's points of weakness/vulnerability.

     4.  Committments   to   virtues   such as   civility,
hospitality,   generosity,  balance,  mutuality,  honesty,
reconciliation.

     5.  Committments  to  the defense of "The  Domination
System"    and   its  network  of   domineering   powerful
supporters.

     6.  The   building   of  sanctuaries  for  poor   and
vulnerable  people  to  take refuge in and  to  heal,   be
reconciled  and  become  integrated  into  the  whole-and-
healthy-community.

     How  can  we decide to act,  and  actually  act,   in
helpful  ways  to  transcend Fallen-Powers ---  if we  are
unaware of and/or  do not clearly perceive --- the present
aspects of the various Powers-That-Be --- and perceive how
their ASPECTS work  together  to  promote  integration  or
disintegration?   If we are  blind and/or if our vision is
blurred --- where can we turn to find hope in the light of
the thousdands of years  of  domination  by  the  "Myth of
Redemptive  Violence"   as  described by  Walter  Wink  in
chapter two of his book "The Powers That Be"?

     If we do not recognize the alienative ASPECTS of "The
Powers  That  Be"   and/or  of  "The  Myth  of  Redemptive
Violence"   we  will  not  recognize how  each  successive
generation of young people  are infected with respect  for
"The Powers That Be" which are FALLEN; and/or are infected
with  respect  for "The Myth of Redemptive  Violence"   as
endlessly   retold  in:   children's  cartoons,   violent-
computer-games,   violent-video-stories, cops-and-robbers-
stories,   war-stories,   war-training,   business-school-
training,   law-school-training, fundamentalists'-sermons,
and stories of God's Armies in the Bible.

     If  we are blind and/or confused about the  roles  of
domination and violence in our enduring myths ---  how can
we  do anything to become liberated/saved from the grip of
"The  Domination  System"   and its  "Myth  of  Redemptive
Violence" --- with coercion,  deception,  arrogance, self-
righteousness,  dishonesty,  collusions,  pretentiousness,
secrecy and disintegration added in for "good-measure".
