There are many mutually complementary virtues. Conformity is not an outstanding virtue. No one virtue is the essence of virtue. In the absence of many essential virtues, there is not much virtue. It is not virtuous to contend about which are the essential virtues, to say which virtues are "in" and which virtues are "out". It is virtuous to work cooperatively to integrate many mutually complementary virtues in ways which are balanced, mutual, gracious, patient, kind, healing, civil, etc. It is not virtuous to contend over who has done the best job of integrating virtues in an especially virtuous way. It is not virtuous to contend about rankings and levels of acceptability. There are many world-views regarding virtues and vices; e.g., the ancient Jewish world-view reflected in the Jewish Scriptures as used by Jews today, the Old Testament world-view as used by modern Christians, New Testament world-view as viewed by modern Christians, the Koran's world-view as viewed by Muslims, etc. Other world-views function among: addicts, codependents, colluders, capitalists, Republicans, Democrats, businessmen, CEOs, investors, dominators, and true-lovers. Below we contrast only the last two world views named, in terms of their virtues and vices. What you regard as virtues depends upon whether or not your are a "True-Lover" or in the service of "The Domination System". The following is a simplified view of a much more complicated reality of many contrasts. The following points only imperfectly to some truths; but does not offer a complete representation of those truths.
