Refrain from using/abusing each other child who is: vulnerable, poor, thirsty, hungry, homeless, ill-at- ease, dis-eased, sick, injured, down, out, rejected, impotent, embarrassed, etc. --- to our own advantage and/or pleasure. 2. Share the fruits of our labors with each other child who has been less fortunate than we have been. 3. To ourselves be just, merciful and humble. 4. To ourselves let-go-of: greed, arrogance, self- righteousness and dominance --- and not support those who demonstrate such patterns of evil relationships. 5. To let-go-of technocratic tools of mutual denigration and destruction. 6. To work cooperatively with-each-other to create for-each-other many gracious sanctuary-communities in Love; as lovers who forswear coercion and violence. 7. To be open and honest with each other child-of- God who is "different". 8. To ourselves be models of civility, hospitality and reverence. 9. To be receptive to, and generous with, people who are imaginative, creative and authentic. 10. To work together to move beyond being dominated by people who are full of: fears, anxieties, defenses, anger and desires for revenge. I encourage readers to join with "Women for Peace Iowa" in their diverse activities to build peace around them reaching out into whole world. Our lives all depend upon all such constructive works of Love. God is at work among us. Let us keep the above thoughts in mind as we study presidential candidates who come to Iowa in the coming months. Shalom. (c) 2005 by Paul A.
