They focus much MORE UPON descriptions which are open, honest, accurate and graciously offered for world- wide consideration and validation --- THAN UPON pre- scriptions, pro-scriptions, scriptures, commandments, demands, legislation and judgments --- which are imposed by a few wealthy/powerful people upon many others --- who are poor and vulnerable. 2. They focus MORE UPON truths which can be validated by any self-disciplined people involved in carefully structured, unbiased and gracious experimentation with others --- than upon "truths" which are presumed to have "come" already validated by some transcendent authority --- with more power than poor and vulnerable people can possibly demonstrate to any other people. 3. The most honored, respected and well-supported natural scientists are those who have been most- outstanding in demonstrating self-disciplined-committments to: a. transcending their own prejudices/biases, b. openness, honesty, humility and grace, c. accuracy in offered descriptive statements, d. integration within descriptive statements, e. gracious patience and tenacity, f. gracious balance and mutuality, g. experimentally verifying hypotheses, h. nurturing creativity and imaginations, i. respecting new ideas that might "work", j. understanding all "things" in terms of degrees-of-possibiility-and-probability --- which are determined-experimentally; rather than in terms of dichotomous either/ or questions-and-statements which are "determined" by the most domineering people around. k. exposing to the light of public dialogue --- statements which are NOT: open, honest, accurate, gracious, descriptive, integrative, etc. --- in keeping with the above ideals, values, principles and virtues taken together in coherent ways. l. exposing fallacies in reasoning, logic and reporting --- regarding how/why "things" work. m. personal and communal integrity and integrations --- rather than committments to greed, dominance, and being-in-control. n. civility, hospitality and generosity --- in the sharing of discoveries and the practical fruits of discoveries made. o. making incremental improvements which are based upon previous incremental improvements --- rather than expecting/demanding the immediate achievement of ultimate perfection at any particular time and place. There are many books about "Whistle Blowers" who often perform great public service; but are then rejected by corporate giants. See your book seller and/or the web sites for more information.
