Be unable to accurately/honestly: name, describe, clarify and/or share with each other what those "ways" and realities are. The word "ways" can here be helpfully- regarded in many different "ways"! 2. Be unable to share with each other the mutual responsibilities that we have for cooperating in responding to (and dealing responsibly with) our own and each other's experiences --- and our responses to them, and our responses to each other as whole persons. 3. Be unable to truly know each other with integrity --- as people demonstrating diverse kinds of integrities. 4. Be unable to integrate our own experiences --- with each other's experiences --- into any kind of coherent and healthy whole reality. 5. Be inclined to repress/suppress into our unconsciousness --- those experiences which we cannot honestly name, describe, clarify and/or share in intimate ways of safe vulnerability within well- integrated sanctuaries where security is thus known in safety. 6. Be able to see, name, describe, clarify and/or share in intimate ways our understandings of how the above dilemmas flow from the activities of domineering people who are faithfully in the service of "The Domination System" which they worship as their "god". 7. Be able to see, name, describe, clarify and/or share in intimate ways --- how we are ourselves idolaters. 8. Be able to see, name, describe, clarify and/or share in intimate ways how the above inter-related experiences relate to our difficulties with our: sexuality, politics, religious and financial --- contentiousness and disintegrative wars. When the above developments occur in our relationships we find that we are crippled because: 1. We are not well informed and cannot become well informed about each other and our circumstances; we remain ignorant. 2. Our inclinations to trust, cooperate and collaborate are severely undermined. 3. We are inclined to misunderstand each other and be motivated/guided by our fears, rather than by reliable knowledge. 4. We cannot learn much from our mistakes; because we blame each other for whatever "goes wrong". We deny that we have ANY responsibility for whatever "goes wrong". 5. Because our relationships lack integrity; we as individuals disintegrate. 6. Because we as individuals lack integrity; our relationships disintegrate. 7. Because there are multiple inter-connected feed- back-loops; they feed each other and augment exponential- decay of our personal and communal integrities. 8. Because we are being compulsively faithful to disintegrative-ideals --- the consequences are tragically dysfunctional --- and our working harder at being faithful to our disintegrative-ideals --- engenders more tragic consequences --- in an endless cycle until we let go of our disintegrative-ideals; in life or in death. 9. We cannot accept each other into open and honest dialogue (or let ourselves be so accepted) just as we are; and so we continue being alienated from our true selves and others --- and cannot be well informed about our selves or each other. Ignorance and fears prevail! We are engaged in disintegrative idolatry, the worship of false gods, when we are unable/unwilling to engage in open and honest dialogue with people who are "different". Differences between animals, including humans", are inherent in our condition of being who we are. To be unable/unwilling to be in communication with what is; is to be ultimately alienated from what is real. That is hell. (c) 2005 by Paul A.
