     It is helpful to recognize that some of our behaviors
are  MOTIVATED by our DESIRES "to-protect"  ourselves  "by
means of":

     1.  Desensitization, indifference and/or fatalism.

     2.  Playing the role of the-helpless-victim.

     3.  Worship of authorities, heroes, and/or dictators.

     4.  Worship of domination, coercion & violence.

     5.  Worship of technologies/technocrats.

     6.  Worship of a unilateral messiah/savior.

     7.  Self denigration and false modesty.

     8.  Giving away our power to make a difference.

     9.  Rejecting responsibility; giving it to others.

    10.  Concentrating power in other who dominate us.

    11.  Generating confusion to hide what threatens us.

    12.  Forgetfulness & repressions of insights.

    13.  Pretentiousness, addictions & collusions.

    14.  Security blankets: arrogance/self-righteousness.

    15.  Respecting "The Powers That Be" our DOMINATORS.

    16.  Honoring The Domination Systems' servants.

     So  long as we hide from ourselves and each other how
such   motivations   and  "means"   make  us  into   mean,
insensitive and domineering people ---  so long we will be
hopeless  and helpless victims of our own  selfishness  in
