Names/faces/roles and events. 2. Personal relationships and processes. 3. Visual images of people, settings and actions. 4. Sounds, conversations, music. 5. Touching events and emotional responses. 6. Patterns of fear, anger, anxiety, emotions. 7. Patterns of smell and tastes in contexts. 8. Relationships between ideals and behaviors. 9. Paradigms and conceptual patterns of thought. 10. Childhood experiences of fear/vulnerability. 11. Unquestioned "truths", "realities" & "views". That which is not clearly discerned, recognized, named, talked about, understood, etc. --- is not likely to be clearly REMEMBERED and is not likely to be available to help respond prudently to future crisis situations in wise ways. Differing people (as regards abilities and gifts) may be inherently able to INTERNALIZE & also REMEMBER only some of the many kinds of the above numbered "things"; but not others of the above "things". So they may be inherently unable to understand each other's different responses to situations, crises, opportunities, people and actions. Enduring conflicts, wars, and misunderstandings may be traced to situations within which the participants are victims of the above kinds of differences which are NOT RECOGNIZED by different people who are involved in them. Different people have various PERCEPTION FILTERS, and so also various FILTERS of MEMORIES. We cannot act on what we have forgotten selectively. (c) 2005 by Paul A.
