When people do not resolve conflicts in creative WIN/WIN ways --- dominant people step in and dominate human relationships, attention, and goal setting. Attention is focused upon technologies through which dominance may be achieved and maintained; rather than upon truly engaging in conflict resolution. Dominant leaders are accepted, selected and/or elected. Wars, weapons and threats dominate --- at the expense of honesty, humility, gentleness, reconciliation, cooperation and learning.
