     Some  people  seek  comfort in  their  visions  of  a                                                                    
perfect    world  ---   in  which  people   and   personal                                                                 
relationships  conform to their sense of what is good  and            
proper.     Their  dilemma is that different  people  have                                     
different visions ---   but few people can envision how to                                     
get  along  well  with people who have different  visions.                                     
Many people's visions include  they  themselves  or  their    
trusted     friends    in   positions    of     dominance,                                                     
leadership,     and/or   control.   In their vision  of  a                                                           
perfect  world ---  imperfect  people will not be  present                                                                    
nor will  they  play any important role in the fulfillment               
of the vision.                                                                                                                 
                                                                                                                               
     Many  people get frustrated,  depressed and/or  angry               
when their favorite visions are not fulfilled in a  timely                                                                     
way.  They look for people upon whom to place blame, guilt      
and     shame  ---  so  as  to  relieve    their     sense                                                                     
of frustration,    depression   and   anger.      They  do                                                                     
not   realize    that   they  contributed  to  their   own                   
frustration,  depression and anger --- by  falling in love                                           
with   unrealistic  visions    which   do    not   include                                                                     
consideration  of  the prerequisites   for  personal   and                                                                 
communal    integrity.  They  blame other people  for  the                                                               
imperfect    relationships   which     they     themselves    
participate   in  ---    failing to acknowledge that  they                           
themselves  are in significant  ways responsible  for  the    
flaws in  their  own  inter-personal relationships.                   
                                                                                                                               
     We  set ourselves up for tragic falls when we fall in                                                            
love   with   unrealistic  visions  ---   without   giving                                           
consideration  to  the  pre-requisites  for  personal  and
