     It  is  important  to distinguish  between  secondary
command and ultimate metacommands.

     It  is  important  to  distinguish  between  received
metacommands,   and whether or not  humans  have  received
from God  metacommands  to enforce  received  metacommands
or secondary commands.

     Whether   or   not  commands   are   integrative   or
not;   depends greatly upon the manner in which those  who
fail to honor the commands are treated.

     People  who  are preoccupied  with secondary commands
often   believe  that  they  have  received  from  God   a
metacommand to enforce secondary  commands  by  initiating
condemnations and punishments upon  those who  have failed
to  honor  the  secondary commands in "appropriate"  ways.
Such   condemnations  and  punishments are  often  evil---
because the they  are  ultimately alienative in ways which
violate the metacommands to Love God and neighbors;    and
to   leave  judgments and punishments to God Who is   Love
and  Who   is both  Just and Merciful.    Humans  who  are
preoccupied  with  secondary commands are  rarely  loving,
forgiving,   merciful,  peacemakers,    integrative,   and
just---in  One  who  is God.  They   lack   personal   and
communal   integrity   and   often  promote  personal  and
