     We  cannot deal wisely with evil relationships if  we
are dishonest  about them,  their consequences,  or  their
roots.

     It does no good to pretend that evil relationship are
not  real,  or that there are no roots or consequences  of
evil  relationships.   The roots of evil relationships are
to   be  found  in  previous  evil  relationships,   i.e.,
alienative relationships.

     It does no good to focus upon particular people as if
the people are evil.

     It  does  no good to think of evil as a  power  which
infests  people and makes them to be evil people;   or  to
think that evil infests places,  words,  images,  rituals,
books  or objects---turning them into occasions  for  fear
and targets for destructive anger, violence,  loathing and
disintegration.

     It is relationships which are evil, not people.

     To  deal  with  evil we must  identify  relationships
which are evil.    We  are  often  involved  in  such evil
relationships  in one way or another.   The following  are
evil relationships:

     Saying/thinking that some people are evil people.

     Being exclusive of people who said to be evil.

     Excommunicating people who are said to be evil.
