Suggestions and guidance from others are most helpful if they are clearly based upon personal experiences reported openly and honestly. The more removed suggestions and guidance are from reported experience, the less likely they are to be experienced as being helpful---and the more likely they are to be experienced as unhelpful/resented attempts to achieve control via rules, laws or regulations. We need to beware of people who are preoccupied with rules, laws, regulations, legalities, judgements, generalizations, and abstractions---which engender blockages of persons' being present and true to self and others as whole beings with unique forms of integrity. When people value that which is detached from and/or abstracted from unique realities---they are not likely to value unique relationships between unique people, and/or unique people themselves. People who are fixated upon or strongly preoccupied with that which pertains to scholarly/scientific categories/abstractions or moralistic/legalities injunctions---tend not to respect either unique experiences/persons nor their open and honest dialogues regarding their experiences/reflections upon them. The unique is often sacrificed for the purpose of celebrating the general abstractions of scholars, scientists, moralists, legalists and others---who are fixated upon or strongly preoccupied with issues of control. Unique open and honest dialogue is not important to many people ---and so is sacrificial upon the alters of whatever idols they worship. They do not even recognize what they have sacrificed, its importance, or that they have made a sacrifice---because according to the rules of their collusive games of mutual self deception they must not, and can not, recognize such reflexive realities.
