     A  community  and its individual members increase  in
their ability and inclination to resolve conflicts as they
develop  INTEGRATIVE  WAYS of  naming,   describing,   and
talking about inter-relationships among causes,   effects,
experiences,    perceptions,    conceptions;  and  ways of
perceiving   and  understanding   themselves   and   their
environment; both objectively and reflexively.

     INTEGRATIVE   WAYS  help individuals and  communities
to  increase  in both personal and  communal  integrity---
rather than increase conflicts between/among them.

     DIS-INTEGRATIVE WAYS lead individuals and communities
to  DECREASE  in  both personal and  communal integrity---
rather than INCREASE in personal and communal integrity.

     Neither individuals nor communities can  unilaterally
and  helpfully   decide  what  are   INTEGRATIVE  WAYS, in
contrast  to DIS-INTEGRATIVE WAYS.    Any disagreement  on
this  matter  is  bound  to  be  DIS-INTEGRATIVE  and  any
pretense to the contrary is bound to be DIS-INTEGRATIVE.

     In  the absence of commonly understood names for  all
that  needs to be talked about---integrative  dialogue  is
much inhibited, and integrative descriptions are  unlikely
to be agreed upon.   Talking and describing depend greatly
upon  a  commonly  agreed upon  vocabulary  of  words  and
phrases which point effectively to  appropriate  essential
