     People  who   are  committed  to   the   paradigmatic
assumptions and presupposition of an exclusive paradigm---
are likely to be participants in collusive games of mutual
self deception.  Their paradigmatic assumptions blind them
to  the  pains  into  which  the  assumptions  lead  them.
Through  their  collusive games of mutual  self  deception
they are blocked from examining the reasons for which they
made their  paradigmatic   assumptions,   and blocked from
examining  the  motivations  which  lead them to  continue
making and affirming their paradigmatic assumptions.

     There are  times  in  which evolutionary  change  and
incremental  growth are inadequate to the challenges of  a
dilemma which confronts us.    The refinement of respected
technologies  will  not resolve the dilemmas presented  to
us  by  people  who  are  committed to  the   paradigmatic
assumptions and presuppositions of an  exclusive  paradigm
with its collusive games of mutual self deception.   There
are  times  when revolution,  rather than evolution,    is
in order.  There are times when repentance and reformation
need   to  challenge  the  paradigmatic   assumptions   of
exclusive people.

     Our personal  integrity,  communal integrity and  the
quality  of  our  lives depend upon our  transcending  the
collusive  games  of  mutual  self deception by  which  we
tragically block the examination of the reasons for  which
we  made our paradigmatic assumptions.    We need to  give
each other the gift of the freedom to be safely vulnerable
in examining our motivations  for continuing  to  make our
tragic  paradigmatic assumptions.   Technical  refinements
and  the  dedication of more energy,  resources and  lives
will not achieve the envisioned goals.

     We will  not achieve salvation so long as  we  assume
that  salvation  can  be  achieved through  some  kind  of
conformity; e.g.,    to requirements pertaining to  works,
training, perfection,  attitudes,  emotions,  expressions,
belief, faith, or assumptions.

     We will not achieve personal acceptability so long as
we  assume  that addictive people should  properly  be  in
charge of defining the criteria for acceptability.

     We will not enjoy security so long as we believe that
security   can be achieved ---  rather than received as  a
gift truly enjoyed  as the freedom to be safely vulnerable
in open and  honest  personal  relationships  of  love and
intimacy.

     We will not fulfill our true potentials so long as we
falsely  believe  that  we know in advance what  our  true
potentials are, and assume that it is  merely a  technical
challenge  to  engineer  the  way  for us  to  achieve our
preconceived goals.

     We will not enjoy security so long as we assume  that
it  is other people whom we have identified as our enemies
who prevent  us from enjoying the security which we  might
give  to  each  other as the true  freedom  to  be  safely
vulnerable in open and honest intimacy.

     True enjoyment  of our true potentials  will  involve
revolutions which threaten all the false assumptions which
we have made and which we defend with our lives ---  as we
play  our  collusive  games  of mutual self  deception  in
defense of our paradigmatic assumptions.  Evolution within
